Hello! My name is Sharaya and I'm an Albertan woman in her 30’s who finds solace and adventure in the Canadian wilderness. With my partner Ryan of 18 years by my side, along with my beloved pets—a goofy 7-year-old Labrador Retriever named “Q” and a spicy 12-year-old cat named “Mau”—I've cultivated a deep connection to nature.

My journey with camping began in childhood, where camping became a yearly tradition. I’m pretty sure there are pictures of me in diapers at the campsite! Even though my family went camping every summer it wasn't until university that I discovered the power of hiking. I love finding solace and rejuvenation on the trails of Alberta and British Columbia’s stunning landscapes.

Now, as I navigate the digital space, my passion for nature extends beyond the physical wilderness. I aspire to create an inclusive space for all outdoor enthusiasts, regardless of experience or background.
